I have a Samsung refrigerator model number RF220NCTASR that has stopped cooling. Samsung has no authorized repair dealers in my area and will not will reimburse me. I first noticed the issue on 12/9 with my fridge. I had a non Samsung repair man look at it but he couldn’t find anything wrong. It began working again on its own. This morning on 12/10 I woke up and all my food in the fridge was at 55-60 degrees. I lost about $200 worth of food and a $700 medication. I had called Samsung in 12/9 and spoke to A lady who gave me ticket number [REDACTED] and told her my fridge is only 2 1/2 years old. She said they don’t compensate for any food or medication lost and could not guarantee and reimbursement. It is now the weekend and I’m out a fridge with no one to call. When I looked in my freezer, I noticed my ice bucket was a solid sheet of ice so it appears this may have been happening far longer than I realized, jeopardizing my health as I was eating the food and had medication that I needed to take that could harm me if it gets warm.
