Ilve Dual Fuel 40″ Range. When oven fan comes on and burners on the top of the range are in use the airflow from the fan changes the fuel (propane) air mixture making it too rich. The result is when adjusting the burner even slightly higher the flame around the pot or pan flares up from 6-12 or so inches. Also, at times, the smell of the propane can be detected due to incomplete combustion. The range operates properly when the oven fan is not on so it is not likely to be a fuel supply issue. The company replaced the first one we bought however the replacement behaves exactly the same. We have videos if you would like to see. I am still communicating with the manufacturer regarding a resolution but they seem to have no answers. My career was in firefighting and fire investigation and had I encountered this professionally I would have considered this a considerable safety issue.
