32 X 16 X 52 SUMMER WAVES ABOVE GROUND RECTANGLE FRAME POOL

Last week October 18, 2022, while I was working the pool ripped along the top seam all the way around. The seam was defective. I bought the pool online through Walmart.com on March3, 2022. It was delivered on March 10, 2022. I set up in March 2022. know I have already called Polygroup. I bought the pool from Walmart online. Here is the complaint I was sold a pool with a faulty seam that went down like I have never seen before. The day was gorgeous outside, I was on my last break of the day outside and all of a sudden, I heard a rip and before I knew it well you see the pictures. Once the seam started ripping it continued. That seam was faulty. I bought the pool in March 2022, delivered it in March 2022, and put the pool up. At the beginning of this week October 18, 2022, the top seam ripped creating a rippling affect rippling all around the top. Had one of my little dogs been outside they would have died. Had it happened when my kids were outside one of them would have hurt. To top it off the pump was running, and I tried unplugging to turn it off and got shocked really bad. We did use the pool once we had up until the day it went down. I was told by Polygroup (maufacturer) I believe the pool had a 90-day warranty from date of delivery. I was told by Walmart the pool had a 30-day warranty from date of purchase. I haven’t even had the pool for a year and although we did use it obviously, we can’t now.
It wasn’t just the pool I had purchased. I got a new pump, electricity for the pump, water, weekly cleaning, vacuuming, etc…. I bought the pool because the previous summer my now 13-year-old had gotten jumped in the bathroom at the public pool in the boy’s bathroom by 9 other kids. So, this past summer I decided I wanted a pool, so he didn’t have to go to the public pool to swim. Now, the pool is destroyed, I’m out thousands of dollars and my son will have to go to the public next summer if I don’t get a replacement. I would rather get my money for the purchase than another above ground pool after a long consideration it is too dangerous for pets or kids if this happens. No one was injured. I was shocked by the pump because the pump was on when this happened, and I tried unplugging it because of the flood in my backyard. We were lucky no one and no dogs were out at the time.
